Slow-mo feature for iPhone not working

Why is the slow-mo feature not working on my iPhone 6s Plus that runs on IOS 15.0.1

every time i try to record in slow-mo it just records as a normal paced video

what do i do in this situation please

IPhone switching to slow-mo during recording. How can I prevent my iPhone (SE running 15.6.1) switching from normal video recording to slow-mo? I have the video frame rate set at 25 FPS to eliminates flicker under Australia 50 HTZ artificial light. The only option for slo-mo FPS is either 120 or 240, which means when the iPhone goes rogue and swaps to slo-mo mid-recording the footage has flicker that isn’t not removed by adjusting the speed bars under EDIT in Photo; and thus the recording is not useable. I have NEVER deliberately used the slo-mo option. I am not interested in EVER using it. How can I disable it to prevent this glitch from occurring again?
