I recently tried adding .mkv files via iTunes on my PC. The issue is that when I added them, I thought they did not copy then I dragged again. I was confused because the storage is showing that I did add them but they are nowhere to be found (searched my phone thoroughly) so I can delete them please help! Where do I find them?

From what I've read, the iPhone does not support .mkv files. Where did you put them on the phone using iTunes?
I would go back to iTunes and see if you can see them there when the iPhone is connected to iTunes. Either you can see them on the iPhone there in Music, since that is where you say you dropped them. If they are not seen there, then I would say they did not go to the iPhone.
How to Search: Search .mkv (or filename.mkv) on the computer.
You can: first create a folder on the computer, give it a name such as mkv files.
Then drag & drop.
Then first check on the computer whether the file has been transferred correctly.
