Amazon Prime app stops working until Apple TV4K reset

I have an Apple TV 4K (1st generation, software is tvOS15.6). Until three months ago, Amazon Prime worked fine. Then it stopped working consistently. Sometimes it will work just fine but other times it won't unless I reset the Apple TV. Then it will work fine but when I come back to it the next day, it won't work until I reset the Apple TV again. It's very annoying. I've tried updating the Apple TV but it says it's up to date. Prime runs without issues on my Firesticks. Help?
