Apple Time Capsule does connect side devices to the internet

I have set up an used Time Capsule as a home router and backup device (to be accessed remotely).

I use UPC Connect Box as a bridge, then Time Capsule is connected via ethernet cable, being the only WiFi router in my place.

While connection works on my Mac (M1 air, connected to TC via WiFi), it turns out to be unable to connect from my iPhone and Xiaomi MiStick - the devices connect to TC, but indicate:

  • "no internet" in MiStick
  • "connected" in iPhone, however I cannot download anything from Web.

I will support y'all with any further info, if necessary

iPhone 13, iOS 15

As I'm sure you are already aware, your Connect Box is a gateway device. That is, it is a combination cable modem, and wireless router. Having a Time Capsule (TC) downstream of it would pose a "double NAT" condition that would require both devices to be configured properly for the optimal overall operation of your network.

You mention that you have the Connect Box configured as a bridge ... correct? If that is the case, it would have its routing functions completely disabled, and simply perform as a modem & a wireless access point (WAP) ... unless you disabled its Wi-Fi radios, as well. I managed to locate a user manual for this device, but could not find any means to place it into bridge mode, which makes me suspect that it isn't, and why you are having Internet connection issues with your other devices.
