Text shrinking

Why is my text suddenly shrinking in my notes on my phone. My IOS is 15.6.1 so you’d think there wouldn’t be issues like this but it’s driving me crazy.

I will be typing and then need to backspace and all of a sudden a portion of my text has shrunk in font size. I’m not using my iCloud notes where it has a tool bar and I can try to adjust font size. It just shrinks out of nowhere and I’m tired of having to backspace and rewrite everything. That is an example of what’s happening.

It appears that the first two words in the text you provided are in a different font from the rest of the writing. You can learn how to change fonts here:

"Create and format a new note

Siri: Say something like: “Create a new note.” Learn how to ask Siri.

Or do the following:

Tap , then enter your text.
The first line of the note becomes the note’s title.
To change the formatting, tap .
You can apply a heading style, bold or italic font, a bulleted or numbered list, and more.
To save the note, tap Done.

Tip: To choose a default style for the first line in all new notes, go to Settings > Notes > New Notes Start With."
