Apple Pro Air pods volume turning up and down by themselves!

when I am listening to pod casts or music the volume will blast loud or will drop down in volume! I am not touching my air pods with my hands or touching my phone when this happens dose anyone know why this happens or is there something I can do to stop this from happening?

Please bear in mind that I have not received any notifications when this happens either.
