UK major bank BARCLAYS v APPLE

UK ISSUE: Just had a very interesting call with Barclaycard commercial and Apple. Apparently Barclays have upgraded their card security and Apple will not follow. So, I am told by both that all transactions will be declined. Apple want everyone to use another bank, Barclays want Apple to change their security. They say that anyone with monthly payments like Apple storage or insurance for phones etc will be just terminated until another payment bank is used.
