iMac 2021 audio quality

I'm interested in the fidelity of the iMac. How's the audio quality? Anyone use a Dragonfly Red DAC with it? I'm on the fence about buying an iMac or an MBA - M2.

is there an equalizer for the whole imac system i know MUSIC has an equalizer but i’d like to see if i can up the bass response for my Cubase application which i want to play through my imac speakers. maybe there is an app for that ? maybe apple has already set their sound to max bass and treble ?

If you use an external DAC such as the AudioQuest Dragonfly Black, Red or Colbalt, the audio quality will be entirely based on the DAC, regardless of which Mac you plug them into.
