Try plugging it into another port.
Sometimes simply unplugging, then plugging back in manages to establish a connection.

With so little info, it's difficulty to do much more than guess.
Have you formatted it with an Apple format? If you have Samsung software installed, uninstall it and retry.
Once you get it formatted and recognized, install only the security software that allows touch to be used if you want that feature; we did not..
We have a total of seven T7s; the only problem we had was with the non touch Samsung software.
