While trying to reset the forgotten MacBookAir password through the Terminal option (once started the recovery mode with power button + Command button + R), I get subject error although there is full WiFi connectivity.

Are you typing resetpassword (all one word) in Terminal? Have you tried resetting your router/modem? Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try?
I do type “resetpassword” in one word.
The WiFi is working fine for all other devices, but I will try restarting the router and also another WiFi network that we have available and I will update you.
