Nothing was hacked because you were never prompted to install anything outside of the App Store.
This is a scam!!
If you receive a suspicious email or SMS text message that looks like it's supposed to be from Apple, please email it to reportphishing@apple.com.

Ignore it and delete it. Don't respond- it's a scam.
