I need my screen replaced (Because it has a crack) the Touch ID doesn't work, how will I make it functional if I do somehow get it replaced and how do I get it replaced, because I'm planning to get it fixed with my dad's friend who fixes phones and he claims to have an original display. Would I be able to replace and retrieve the function of the Touch ID again? If so, can he do it?

You can ask Apple if they'll touch your phone, but going into it, be advised Apple can refuse to touch a phone with aftermarket parts installed.
don't think your dads friend, but heard that if non approved repair folk tried to repair ones phone official apple repair places will no longer touch it
if it was me and I send a device to repair and it came back not fully functional then I would complain a lot, a lot of people who post about their touch ID or faceID not working seem to have the problem because of the display parts, so I would expect as much
