unwelcome tracking of airpods
A friend was visiting this weekend and has an iphone. He was able to track me on his phone by looking for my airpods. I do not have an iphone. How do I stop his ability to track me?

It sounds as though your friend may have received an alert that an accessory or AirPods was with them. If so, that would allow that individuals to see an accessory that is within their proximity and have the ability to set off an alert to locate the accessory. If you don't have an iPhone, did you set up your AirPods using an iPod touch, iPad, or Mac? If so, that would indicate that Find My may have automatically been enabled. If you don't want to use Find My with your AirPods, you can learn more about removing your device via the following article.
