Is there a way to tether my iPhone camera to photos app on my MacBook?

I would like to see my photos from my iPhone on my MacBook as I take them. I understand I can use adobe Lightroom, but is there a way to do that in the photos app on my laptop?

No. Nor am I sure you can tether an iPhone to Lightroom. I'd make sure before making a purchase.
