Apple TV

I have a simple system with Apple TV Gen 6, Bose SoundTouch 300 and Samsung TV. My apple remote started to lower the volume when I pick the remote up and turn it in a vertical position. Help!

Try restarting just the remote, as described in: If your Apple TV remote isn't working - Apple Support.
