BigSur Older Model Macbook Pro (2012)

I got a new hard drive and increased GB on my 2012 MacBook Pro. The available storage space is over 125GB. Is there a way to update to BigSur in a situation like this?

Sorry, no. Catalina is the highest possible upgrade. Also see the following from Identify your MacBook Pro model - Apple Support
