Hello Gentlepotato34,

Just to confirm, do you receive this message when you try to connect to all networks, or just a specific one? Have you always received that message when trying to connect to Wi-Fi, or did this just begin recently?

You can find some helpful information on how to connect your Mac to the internet using Wi-Fi here: Connect your Mac to the internet using Wi-Fi

Join a public Wi-Fi network

1. On your Mac, click the Wi-Fi icon  in the menu bar, then choose the network you want to join.

If you don’t see the network you want to join, click Other Networks to display nearby networks.

2. If requested, enter the password for the network, then click Join.

Please also check to ensure that the recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points are being used. This page goes over the recommended settings: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

Thanks!
