I can't sync my iPod, where do I get iTunes?

My iPod synced and is now empty. I'm trying to sync my entire music library but it won't sync. I don't have iTunes, only Apple Music. I Googled this issue and it told me to go to the App store and download iTunes...but it's not there. What is going on? Has Apple somehow stolen all my music?

If you have an iPod Touch, see: Add music to iPod touch and listen offline - Apple Support

I don't have an iPod Touch. I have an iPod. I've had one for MANY years and I have loved them. When my last one died, a few years ago, I bought one online and it has been working just fine. I recently synced it to add a few songs, and it wiped it clean. I can't get it to sync or download my library. I don't HAVE a Touch, I don't NEED a Touch and I don't WANT a Touch, and from what I understand, you can't buy them anymore. The iPod I have is perfect for my needs but I can't get my music onto it. Apple just says they no longer support iPods. So, in a way, it's like theft. I paid for the iPod and I paid for all the music, but now they are rendered useless and Apple just says "Sorry, we don't support them anymore." My iPod has 120GB of storage. An iPod Touch has 16. I can listen to music through my phone and Apple Music, but I prefer a dedicated music storage/playback device so I don't have to use my phone. (which I use for GPS, audiobooks, email, texting and as a PHONE, so it's nice having the music independent of all that.) I know there is a way to circumvent the system and reload my library onto my iPod, but I don't know what it is!!

I have also had many computers and laptops and iPads become obsolete, no longer have enough memory to be updated, no longer compatible with the new IOS. But my music library is still intact and my iPod works just fine. Neither is obsolete. It would be trivial to provide instructions for loading the music back onto the iPod, but I have been unable to find a person who knows how and would share that information. I was told that the library still exists in iTunes, but I have no idea how to access iTunes, or where it might be hiding. And Apple Music won't download onto my iPod. I fully accept it when a device is too old and out of date to function. That is not the case with my iPod....it works fine. I am not a complainer, I love Apple products and am a very loyal customer. I'm just frustrated, which I think I am allowed to be!!
