Automatic mass tab closing

I have several different tab groups on my iPhone’s safari, and many times when I switch between them, my main tab group will be wiped when I return to it. Just recently, I had a little over 100 tabs in my main tab group, and when I left that tab group to return to it later, it had been completely wiped as if I had deleted them myself. The only trace that was left behind was the numerous tabs in my “recently closed” section. The picture below shows all of my tabs missing. I have also heard the same complaints from people that I know with newer devices.

iPhone X, iOS 15
