Connection Doctor shows all accounts are online so why can't I OUT my email with Apple Mail

I am on my Mac Book using Big Sur and a couple day ago I started having trouble sending out mail, I receive mail jus Fine. I have had the account for several years and had no problem before. Now nothing but problems.

I checked all account settings in mail, all good, checked Connection Doctor, all Green everything as should be. I even spent 2 hours with internet Server, the techs I spoke to two, said every thing was fine their signals were go. So I changed my password thinking that was a problem for some reason,It worked for one (!) test.

I justified to send an important email, would not go the list thatches up says all SMTP Offline, but Connection Doctor shows Online and Accounts show Online. I can't keep deleting and reentering information every time I want to send an email. Please someone must have the answer..

At my wits end.

Yahoo App password…

Generate and manage third-party app passwords

Some older, third-party email apps (that do not use our Yahoo branded sign in page) require you to enter a single password for login credentials. To access your Yahoo Mail account on these apps, you'll need to generate and use an app password. An app password is a long, randomly generated code that gives a non-Yahoo app permission to access your Yahoo account. You’ll only need to provide this code once to sign in to your third-party email app.
