Dear Apple Mail,

Thousands of people are experiencing this problem. We have a workaround, that is simple and NOT ELEGANT or pleasing or should be required, of finding the mail on our iphone and forwarding it to ourselves, again.

This seems to happen when the mail is from a mailing list.

For me, this seems to happen when my laptop is on but not connected to a WIFI (traveling).

This seems to happen all TOO FREQUENTLY to be something that YOU CANNOT recreate, identify root problems and develop solutions.

Why are you being so lazy on this problem?

Then, we have the possible issue of Third Party Security Software installed and used on the computer

There are no known Windows-like Viruses in the wild that self replicate and affect macOS, because of the underling UNIX  Foundation and Permission Limitation.

Additionally, and specific to Big Sur macOS 11 and Monterey macOS 12, the Operating System resides in a Sealed and Read Only Volume that can not be opened by the User and protects against from “ Bad Actor “ Software.

The Only thing this Antivirus software is protecting is the Bank Account of the Developers and for zero return to the User aside from the problems this software creates.

AntiVirus Developers purposefully Market their product to create a “ Fear Factor “. In so doing, creating a False Need for their Product.

The The Built in Security  is all that is required to protect the computer.

Dear P. Phillips,

You are very observant and I was sloppy in my definition of WHEN the problem occurs.

When I am at home, on my WIFI, no problems.

When I travel to the ranch, where the WIFI at the ranch is good, BUT I have 4 or 5 hours of no connectivity, I have the problems.

But I think it's more important, more relevant that many people have this problem. Continue to have this problem. And yet, Apple is not addressing this problem.

When I have this problem, all I need to do is find the SAME message (that my laptop reports has no content) on my iphone. I can read everything there or I can resend it to my self and magically this message has full content available on my laptop too!

As the OP mentioned, THOUSANDS of us are having this problem and it's getting worse. I just opened my MacBook Pro this morning to find that nearly half my email has given me the now far too frequent "The message has no content" message. What's the the point of having a mail application if I constantly have to open Yahoo Mail in order to, you know, actually read my email?!

I'm up to date with all updates on Monterey 12.5.1
