I have turned everything off to back up and it still says the back up will take 7.2 gb. Why is it so hard to do anything with apple phones? I only need my contacts calendar notes and reminders backed up. I’d like to have health and fitness too but doesn’t have to be
No. You can select the items that you wish to sync with iCloud. An iCloud backup backs up the state of your device and excludes items already synced to iCloud. A computer backup backs up the entirety of your device (apps, etc.). Backup methods for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
If you backup, you back up everything on your device. That's how it works.
