It won’t let me add my apple account to my wallet

Click ▶︎ Can’t add a card to Apple Wallet.

Right—obviously, the people who posted the link above did not read closely the original post.

I am having the same problem and if it persists, I will go to the Apple Store and see if they can straighten it out. If they cannot, I will ask them to manually apply a credit to my purchase.

I had this happen to me also, I got the same message when I tried to add my apple account to my wallet. I had $50 balance in my account when I tried to add it. I actually got it to work by getting a new everything apple gift card and redeeming at apple.com/redeem and then when I checked my wallet all of it was there, the $50 I had in my account previously and the new $25 I had just redeemed.

The issue I’m even having now is that. I have 1972$ apple balance and my total checkout is 1282.93$ on the Apple website but on the checkout page I can see this prompt on the bottom side of the page “ Items in your order are not eligible for this payment method. Please select another form of payment”

Meanwhile I order made a purchase with the same apple balance early this month , about 6 days ago but I had to cancel the order due to personal reasons , now that I’m trying to re-order I’m getting that error

and also I tried adding the apple account to apple wallet but I’m getting this error “Your Apple Account Balance cannot be added to Wallet at this time.”

I had this issue and found my Apple Card under Previous Card instead of Add Apple Account. I only was just approved for an Apple Card and never had one before, but that’s how I got it on there. Also, I just updated to 16.1

This isn't a helpful response - the "card issuer" is APPLE.

Same here, can’t add. Wa sin the Apple Store yesterday and they didn’t know why.

I’m on call with them for the past 2 hours , they don’t seem to have a solution as well
