Apple TV family sharing not working on Roku

On my Roku, in the Apple TV app, I signed into my Apple ID, which does have access to family sharing Apple TV+ subscription (which works on my iPhone). I am only able to watch the first episode of shows and not able to access the Apple TV subscription. I am asked to signup for a 3 month trial rather than being able to watch the same shows I can watch on my phone. I am signed into the same Apple ID on the Apple TV Roku app as my iPhone, so no reason I shouldn’t be able to watch the same shows. I also confirmed family sharing is still turned on.

Sometimes it helps to have the devices involved take a fresh look at settings:

- Try signing out of accounts and back in again.

- Restarting is a simple step that can resolve many unexpected behaviors.

If a problem persists my inclination would be to try contacting Roku first since it is their hardware. If they can't help then try Apple:
