Monterey 12.5.1 Finder bug

Since updating last week, Finder windows are not restored on a restart or shut down/start-up, despite my ticking the necessary box on the confirmation window. This has never been a problem before. Thanks for any thoughts on this - whether I should submit a Bug Report or if there may be another reason.

FWIW, It's not a bug. It's something local to your machine. What it might be I don't know. You can try booting into Safe Mode, then restart normally. That sometimes fixes anomalies.
