No manual zoom at Apple CarPlay Maps navigation?

Hello, I encounter the following problem when using Apple Maps on CarPlay. Whenever I zoom out while 3D Navigation, the zoom jumps back to closest setting after few seconds. Would be much better choosing a manual zoom that stays fix at the manually selected level, not zooming in again after few seconds drive (especially on highways). Thanks for your support.

google maps making carplay lag I have been using google maps to connect to my KIA carplay. The maps will work fine for about 2 minutes then my map lags. My car is ahead of were Google Maps thinks I am by about a minute. This also happens with Waze. It also makes switching over to other car play apps extremely slow almost not possible. If I use Apple Maps this doesn't happen but I don't like the Apple Maps. I've reset my phone connections. Deleted the saved car from CarPlay. All my location settings have been reset and updated. My service coverage is good in the areas. Also, all apps and Iphone are updated to the latest versions. Google maps worked great until about 2 weeks ago. Any ideas or is Apple just hating on Google Maps

Apple Carplay Maps in Ford Sync 3 When I use Carplay in Sync 3 my audio in navigation directions sometimes will work fine and other times there is no sound in directions I just cant figure out why it works one time but not others.... Can anyone help
