i have set time automatically enabled but the time is always off by 2 minutes

set date and time was set to automatic with the Apple Americas option but the time is always off by 2 minutues.

iMac (27 inch, mid 2011)

Hig Sierra version 10.13.5

Macbook showing wrong time My macbook is showing wrong time i have tried everything from older posts to correct my time. things i have done: Restarting setting automatic time setting off and on The best option that worked for me is typing this in terminal: sudo sntp -sS time.apple.com It sets my time to the correct one but for temporarily. After some time it goes back to showing the wrong time Its 1 December today and it always get set to 25 November. I have a Macbook pro 2019 model with MacOs sonoma Version 14.1.2

If the date or time is wrong on your Mac

The current version of High Sierra is version 10.13.6

Then are are Several Security Updates ending with last update issues November 2020
