Dexcom G6/G7 and Apple Watch Ultra/Series 8

Hello!

As a diabetic who loves water activities, it’s not feasible to bring my phone with me when I’m surfing or paddling. I’ve been putting off buying an Apple Watch until I’m able to have my readings directly connect to my Apple Watch when I’m more than 30+ feet away from my phone.

I currently have the Dexcom G6 and I’m wondering if the new Apple Watches would allow me to get my readings on watch without being near my phone?
