touch id but no pass code assigned how to start

I just got a new 14" MacBook Pro M1Pro 16Gb 1TB storage. Set it up, Touch ID, etc. Didn't enter a Pass Code. Later, did a Shut Down. Now the MB Pro asks for Pass Code to Start UP— Is there a work around for the lack of a Pass Code entered at Set Up Time?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 12.3

This is your user/admin password to log in...

if you migrated your user account from an old Mac it would be the same psswd.

There are a few instances where Touch ID will not be accepted by macOS:

• If you restarted your Mac, or if you're not logged into your user account.

• If you have not unlocked your Mac for 48 hours.

• If you are trying to unlock Security & Privacy

• If you are trying to unlock Users & Groups Preferences (when FileVault is on)

• If 5 wrong fingerprint attempts
