Does Emergency SOS work when Cellular signals are not there?

When passing on highways in remote areas with no cellular signal will Emergnecy SOS work?

No. The iPhone 14, however, has a way to report emergencies via satellite.

Satellite SOS while traveling If you are traveling out of network in a country where the Satellite SOS hasn't officially launched--I travel to West Africa frequently, for instance--can you at least activate the emergency SOS and notify Globestar/your emergency contacts with the nature of the emergency and location so they can try to organize help? Thanks a lot. Just changed to Apple 13 last month. Will see if can get it changed to 14 to get satellite SOS
