I am a songwriter, and I released a song on iTunes. My friend bought it. But I want to delete it and re-release it to change something in it. Will my friend be refunded? Will he lose the song + the money? What will happen? What should he do?
He'll keep the copy he has, but won't be able to redownload it without paying again. Send him a copy of the new version directly.

The old version won't be redownloadable after you remove it, and unless you send him the new version directly, he'd need to pay for it.
The iTunes Store staff won't be obligated to give a refund. If they do, it'll work as if he bought only the new one.

So unless he refunds it and buys the new one, he will remain with the old version, but it will still be downloaded for him?
