I live in Iran and apple has no representative here so therefore no guarantee offer is available for apple products here. I'm immigrating within a year to Italy and I was wondering if I can buy apple care when I arrived in Italy (where I want to study at university). I can have documents prooving I purchased the product here but I don't know whether if it will be enough.

But Apple products aren't legal for sale in Iran. So what is happening is that someone else purchased the product in some other country. You are now buying the product second-hand.

The obvious, easy answer is to simply buy the product in Italy. You can get AppleCare+. Your purchase is legal. You have support. Everything is golden. But in the end, it's just money. If you have plenty of it, then buy one device in Iran and buy another in Italy.

If you buy a product now, it will be too old to buy Applecare for it in Italy in a year. You have to buy it within 60 days.
The other point is that even Applecare may only bevalid in the country of purchase. We are a user to user technical forum and for legal questions, it is best to check with Apple.Same for thecountry requirements.
I’m not sure what you are asking. If you buy a product in Italy then your nationality is irrelevant. You can purchase AppleCare on that product and it would be as valid as if an Italian had purchased it. However, it might not be as good a deal in Italy because the EU already has strong consumer protection laws.
I read that part mentioning 60 days but it also said it can be 1 year for some countries but it didn't mentioned the countries. Maybe developing countries are among those?
