Middle of Screen not Responding

I gave my teen my iPhone 8plus. From using a germ wipe there is some liquid underneath the screen. I managed to stop that at a certain point although you can see it in a corner. Everything works except the mid part of the screen. Anything you have to click on in that area, not happening. Would a screen replacement fix this possibly?

Turning on a wet machine can cause more damage and increase the cost of repair. ⚠️


Considering that the wipe contains chemicals such as alcohol, things just got worse.


Based on your situation, I recommend service.
