When using Messenger, a little icon has appeared with a microphone & keyboard on it. It’s stuck in the lower right hand corner and hides the text I’m trying to type! Very frustrating. Cannot figure out how to get rid of it! It is there on both iPad & iPhone 7+. I have tried Settings >General >Unselect “dictation” and nothing works. This icon did not used to be there, just happened recently, probably in an update?

The icon at bottom right of the screen allows you to easily expose the on-screen keyboard for input of special characters that cannot be accessed from a physical keyboard (e.g. emoji) - and access voice controls.
The icons cannot be relocated, butbe disabled from iPad settings:
Settings > General > Keyboard > [All Keyboards] Shortcuts - set to OFF
