Trade-in - New phone won't be here for five weeks

Hi all,

I just pre-ordered a new phone and I am trading in my old one.

I received an email asking me to send in my phone within the next 7 days.

My new phone isn't going to be shipped for about 5 weeks.

Can I keep my old one until I get my new one?

I have to ship my old iPhone before my new iPhone delivery for trade in I bought iPhone 14 Pro just now and trade in my iPhone XS. I just got a email about the trade in it said that “Please ship your package within 7 days.” But my new iPhone will deliver in Oct 17-24, that means if I ship my XS in 7 days. I have no device to use in one month. Any ideas, there is no chat contract in Apple Support right now.
