MSNBC app on Apple TV 4th Gen; stutters, buffers constantly

Trying to find the source cause; of the MSNBC TV app stuttering and buffering. It's connected by a Verizon sign in. Don't know if the problem is the app itself; Verizon; or the processor of the Apple TV which is the A1625 model, 4th generation. Internet is high speed Comcast. However the Youtube app plays fine.

Or is it some setting I can adjust?

If the issue is isolated to MSNBC then that typically means it's the app. You can try force quitting as well as reinstalling but if it persists you would need to reach out to the developer to investigate.
