How can I get the old Modular Watch face back?

Yes, they really messed this one up. Especially for a company that touts their "accessability" accomplishments, this is horrible for anyone without the vision of a 19 year old!

If you had taken just a few moments to read past the opening post, you'd have realized you aren't speaking with Apple on this user to user only forum. Not one person here can put anything back as it was.

The feedback link is posted just one post above yours. Use it to tell Apple what you'd like to see.

I too had this problem. Good news.

1. Apple tech support was not aware of this problem, I just got off the phone with them. I demonstrated the issue and they recreated the problem at their end.
2. I found a work around solution.

The apple watch app on the iPhone has a bug. The calendar catagory is missing the date option. This we all know.

But you can also edit complications directly on the watch. This method shows the day date option! But you first have to turn off the day date on the upper complication. Voila!

Read the thread you responded to before posting to the first post. If you had, you'd learn you're not speaking to Apple. You're just speaking with other users on a user to user only forum, none of whom work for Apple or have any ability to bring anything back.

But in this thread a user did find a workaround and if you read the thread, you can try it.

Agree with this request regarding the modular watch face. Would appreciate you bringing back the larger numbers for complications like temperature, date, etc... thanks.

Went there, did that and Product Feedback list does not even extend to 9.0 yet so low hopes here for Apple attention.

I agree. The old Modular face displayed targets alongside your activity achieved and was easy to read but can’t find a face that does that anymore. Very frustrating.

Someone farther back in these comments claims that they got the old watch face back by restoring their updated watch with an older backup of their watch.

Then again, tell Apple what you need. Expressing it here, gets you nothing.

Apple isn't here on this user to user only forum. If you want Apple to hear you, use the feedback link which has been posted over and over throughout this thread.

OK.....Then maryk209, needs to use the feedback link to let Apple know. They apparently think they are speaking with Apple on this user to user only forum.

Don't forget to use the link that's been provided in the discussion to send feedback to Apple, and make sure to click on the "Me too!" button on the first post.

Evidently with the new modular face, there’s a background off option. That’s what worked for me to bring back the old style.
