How can I get the old Modular Watch face back?

WatchOS 9 removed the old Modular watch face and renamed the Infographic Modular to Modular. How can I get the old Modular back? I need the larger numbers for some of the complications like temperature.

I am SO frustrated with the new modular face! There is no option to put the day/date in the middle. What is Apple thinking!?! The least they could do is keep the old face too! They added a second modular face and that is worse! Can we roll back the update? Very upsetting.

When you go to reply on this forum it says tell us what’s on your mind!

Clearly no one should do that. My god bring to light a problem, that’s chaos all right.

the Modular face complications are an accessibility issue for persons with poor vision!

There is a whole accessibility section in settings full of mostly unusable tools designed to resolve those Issues.

The old Modular face resolved those issues for people with poor vision quite effectively. Not only that it helped people requiring help with organization, travel or just busy people in general. The new version of the face is unreadable eliminates the simplicity and clarity the old face accomplished so well.

if you only want technical posts then state that some where. I didn’t know. Your forum popped up on a google search while I was looking for a solution to resolve my issue with not being able to see the information on my watch.

So I’m sorry for posting my thoughts.

I repeat I did not threaten a lawsuit. I said it could be a legal issue for Apple, not from me! The post is not about a face I like it’s about a face I and other people need. I came upon the forum in a google search trying to resolve an issue.. I don’t know stating what I was a bit passionate about would be a problem.

I have apologized, I have given apple my feed back as suggested. What exactly do you want me to say.? Feel free to send me a pre written post and I will repost it. Since clearly you only want to hear and read what you want, and are not satisfied with an apology and an explanation on the reason for the post.

Please let’s end this here for the third time

i apologize !!!!!!

Actually I just realized it’s not the Modular face they they changed it’s the restyled complications on the face. They also removed the complications for date in the center.

it’s a big deal.

For example if you wear single vision glass while driving you can no longer quickly look down for date time world time. You now need to open your phone or switch glasses. Some vision issues do not allow for the use of bifocals or progressive glasses.

In bed you can no longer glance at the watch you need to put on reading glasses.

While performing any task not requiring glasses will now require glasses fir example eating, walking. Etc

It’s is a huge issue for some of us.

The new complications were styled for looks not functionality or accessibility.

The modular face is designed for functionality and accessibility by design! The unnecessary ( key word unnecessary) change to the complications negating those benefits is a huge mistake. Why not add stylish complications without unnecessarily removing the ones that are visible and solve the accessibility issue.

"How often do you not know where you are?"

Please avoid sarcasm and try to understand. Obiously this person is refering to the world time complication when you travel, not the location they inhabit.

I use local time and 2 world clocks for work because of business. Now I can't read those well because the new complication's clocks are tiny due to the added graphics of a little sun or moon.

Thanks to the person who provided the product feedback link. I've posted to that site what I feel are problems with these updated complications. Whether Apple agrees is another story. They are often of the opinion that they know best what we all need way better than we do.

My old watch face was simple, temp top left, time top right. The large middle complication (the think I really miss) contained todays day and date and at the bottom, battery, text and mail. All of these displays were visible with my somewhat old tired eyes without having to reach for my glasses. For now, I've simply blanked out the middle complication altogether. It no longer displays any useful information. Why any developer would offer a compass rather than todays day and date is beyond me.

I'm fine with added functionality but why take away the simple things? Thanks.

It wasn't sarcasm. And no, that wasn't obvious at all. They said: see the city they're in". That implies the city in which they are currently physically present. Perhaps they meant what you said. Perhaps they didn't.

Please avoid assuming intent behind people's questions.

Same here. Unacceptable. Extremely disappointed! Please, bring back precious modular face with larger digits and slightly different layout. I used the center/MAIN complication for stock market info. However, the current modular face, that Apple stuck me with, has numerals/data that is darn near microscopic. This is precisely why I had chosen the previous modular versus opposed to this awful one. I experimented with both. The “stocks” complication is very important to me, and the previous version of modular face was very helpful and convenient for quickly accessing this information. However, the current and now only option is practically useless because of the ridiculously tiny infograph intel. Furthermore, I would like to add my option that the current modular face is ugly, unrefined, and reminiscent of android/PC’s dull lackluster styling. The previous, now, MIA, modular face was much more refine, thought out, and upholding to the level of Apple’s adherence to beautiful products. We all make mistakes, the proper recourse when they occur is to make corrections. Here’s your opportunity to do so.

The complication icons are now bulky and not fully monochromatic. The clock and date forced white rather than the color I chose I pointless. Let me customize the font and complications colors back to the original Modular face.

No one here on this user to user only forum can bring back anything. Which you'd know if you had actually read past the first post in this thread. And you'd also see a Feedback Link posted multiple times for you to use to let Apple know your thoughts.
