Duplicate photo option not visible in Albums

1. Tap Albums, then tap Duplicates below Utilities.

2. Duplicate photos and videos appear next to each other.

3. Tap Merge to combine the duplicates, then tap Merge [number] Items.

Merging combines the highest quality version and all of the relevant data across the duplicates, and keeps that one in your library. The remaining duplicates are moved to the Recently Deleted album.

If you don’t have any duplicate photos or videos in your library, the Duplicates album doesn’t appear.

If you've confirmed that you have duplicate photos and videos on your iPhone, but the Duplicates album is not visible, it may be because the detection process has not yet finished. The detection process would require your device to be locked and connected to power, and depending on the size of your library it may take some time for the process to complete.
