iOS 16 Wallpaper keeps reverting to old wallpaper!

I created some new wallpaper pairs after upgrading to iOS 16. However the phone would REVERT back to my old wallpaper before the update! I tried deleting the old wallpaper and the image and it still comes back regardless! There is no name for the old wallpaper set. I rebooted the phone a few times and no luck. Anyone?

Hello iFixPls,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with old wallpapers coming back even after you delete them. Are these on any other devices that use the same Apple ID as your iPhone? Have you tried restarting your iPhone? This simple step resolves a multitude of issues: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

"How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, or 13

  1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
  2. The volume button is located on the left side of the device, and the side button is located on the right
  3. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
  4. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
