It would be better if you can please re-post with a screenshot, in order to understand the phenomenon better. Images/pictures speak louder than words.

Maybe please advise what the problem is and how we can solve Instead of a snappy useless reply to “post the problem in detail”

FYI

1.) The available space on the phone is many times more than the 323 MB that the update says it is,so the phone is not running out of storage space

2.) This phone is kept completely updated and has the most immediately previous iOS loaded, so it’s not skipping a whole bunch of updates at once to get here.
