Nano SIM doesn't fit in new iPhone 13

Transferring sim from iPhone SE 2020 to iPhone 13 Mini, but SIM will not fit. I tried, my wife tried, no joy. On further inspection, the genius engineers at Apple, who if Steve Jobs were alive now, he would fire, and then have put in front of a firing squad have changed which side of the SIM goes "up" in the SIM tray. So if you are changing phones like I am, you now with the newer phone must insert into the tray upside down. This is incredibly unintelligent. The company made it's name on making things simple .. this is the opposite.

SIM is an international standard.

There are 8x permutations of how a nanoSIM can be positioned on a nanoSIM tray.

7x of them are wrong.

Even when positioned the “right way” it can be tricky to get it inserted properly.

Most adult-sized fingers DO encounter some challenges in manipulating it all correctly.

You might be happy to know that nanoSIMs have been phased-out entirely on the latest crop of US iPhone 14s.
