How to remove "no remote access" message in Home app (iOS 16)

The message takes up so much of the screen and pushes other content off screen.

I KNOW I don't have remote access. I don't need a message to remind me.

I also don't WANT remote access.

How do I remove this thing?

Turning off iCloud access for Home disables the app altogether.

Hey there severino9208,

There is a setting we found in the iPhone User Guide which may help with stopping this notification.

Control your home remotely with iPhone - Apple Support

1. Settings
2. Tap [your name
3. iCloud
4. Tap Show All
5. Then turn off Home

Give those steps a try, and hopefully you'll no longer see those notifications.

Take care!
