Netflix not working on Apple TV 3rd Gen

Hi guys,


I just bought an apple tv 3rd gen, it had a Netflix log onto it which was working just fine. I logged it out to sign in my account, but the apple TV keeps saying “Unable to Sign in”. It says the username or password entered was wrong.


I have tried several times now, and it keeps saying that. I thought it was a Netflix problem so i logged out of my Ipad and logged back in, but the username and password seemed to work just fine there.


I thought maybe there were too many devices logged in, so i logged out of my computer and ipad, and tried logging into the apple tv, still nothing.


Can someone please help me out?

You may need to update your email address for the account in the Netflix online administration (web). The new email may be the same as the old one, but you’ll have to enter it again.
