i am located in Antigua and would like to order one.
So then I can never own an iPhone again.

I am living in the Caribbean and can’t buy a phone unlocked from apple any more to be sent down to me in the Caribbean..
So I just give up on iPhone and go to Samsung?
The iPhone 14 sold in the U.S. does not have a SIM card tray, so you would not want to buy the phone in the U.S.
The iPhone 14 sold in other countries will have a traditional SIM card tray in addition to eSIM.

once I select other carriers I will get the iPhone with the SIM card tray.
Then, you will buy the iPhone 14 in a country outside of the U.S. You will not get an iPhone 14 with a SIM card tray if you purchase the product in the U.S.
You have all of the information that you need to make a decision on whether you want to buy an iPhone in the U.S. or in another country......or......not buy an iPhone at all.

No, you won't. Even the unlocked units sold in the USA won't have a physical SIM card slot.

Then buy it from any country other than the USA; that will have a physical SIM slot, but you'd likely be denied warranty service on it outside of the one where you got it.
