Volume buttons on Apple TV remote stop working after using it for a while

Apple TV volume buttons stop controlling the volume on my tv after using it for a few days.

Pairing the remote again does not help, restarting or unplugging apple TV from the power outlet does not help either. The remote is fully charged. The only thing that helps is to do a full factory reset on apple TV. However I don't want to do a factory reset on my apple TV every week?

Also unpairing and pairing the remote again is what actually makes the volume buttons to STOP working.

TV model is LG 55eg910v. Is there any way to fix this?

Hey evo-devo,

Have you checked for an available tvOS update? If not, let's start there: Update Apple TV software - Apple Support

Next, test to see if the issue continues. Make sure your Apple TV is not enclosed in a cabinet or behind a TV display. It's also a good idea to make sure your Apple TV is at least several feet from your router, to avoid any interference there.

If the behavior continues, reach out to Apple Support for further assistance: Contact - Official Apple Support

Take care.
