Iphone 13 Pro not showing a 5Ghz WIFI on the list.

Hi everybody!

My Iphone: 13 Pro with IOS 15.7

I have a really annoying problem about my new iphone that I just got last month. I haven't noticed anything since I upgraded my old wifi to new one that has 5ghz wifi channel.

Everything was fine for the first 2 days, then suddenly the 5ghz wifi never came up again. But 5ghz wifi works flawlessly on my IPHONE XS, IPHONE XS MAX, IPHONE 5 (Five).

If you think its about range between my phone to the router. I put all my old iphone beside my Ip13Pro and only the Ip13pro not detecting the 5ghz wifi. Even I put my Ip13pro beside the router.

The thing I tried before came up to this discussion:

I know that my iphone still works without 5Ghz wifi, but... I need a faster wifi, My 2.4ghz works slowly than 5ghz. Can you guys help me please? Check the video down below.

Hello ursweetestdreams,

Based on what we are seeing, you have done some solid troubleshooting.

The only thing we would change would be to name the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz different names so they are easily identifiable when choosing a network.

Are you able to see other 5 GHz networks? This would help to isolate where the issue is. If the iPhone can see other 5 GHz networks, then there is most likely an issue with the set up of this particular Wi-Fi network.

If you continue to have an issue, we would suggest reaching out to Apple Support here: Get Support

Have a good day.
