IMac continually searching for updates

My Mac is up to date and is operating with Big Sur.It is too old to upgrade but still getting security updates. It is fully up to date but still continues to search for updates. Nothing stops this.I have started in safe mode and rebooted but still searching despite being up to date. How do I stop this?

Please try resetting the NVRAM per the following link:

However what I am seeing in your screenshot there is nothing wrong with the computer. If you would like us to look over what is installed to see if there are any issues please submit an EtreCheck report. Instructions are below.
