Random freeze and logged out while playing Steam

I recently upgraded to the latest Monterey 12.6 version. When I'm playing Football Manager 2022 game on Steam, the game and my computer randomly freezes and then I'm logged out after few seconds, as if the computer wakes up without screen going black and all that. When I log back in all the open applications were closed as if the machine restarted. Anyone had similar issue? Is there any solution? My machine isn't aware that it had to restart due to a problem, therefore it doesn't prompt me to report the issue with pop-up message.

Hello khamroz65,

We understand that Steam and Football Manager isn't working as expected on your MacBook Pro. We'll do our best to assist with this.

When you launch Steam, does it update automatically on your Mac? If not, we'd suggest checking for a Steam update and get that installed to test this further. If needed, take these related steps: If an app freezes or quits unexpectedly on Mac - Apple Support

If an app freezes or quits unexpectedly on Mac

When an app on your Mac stops working, try these suggestions.

- If an app doesn’t quit as expected, or it’s unresponsive, you can force quit the app (you may lose unsaved changes). Choose Apple menu  > Force Quit, select the app in the dialog that appears, then click Force Quit.
- If the app quit, reopen it by clicking Reopen in the dialog that appears.
- Restart your Mac by choosing Apple menu > Restart.
- Make sure the app is compatible with your version of macOS.
- Open another file in the app. There may be a problem with the original file.
- Check for updates to your software.
- Disconnect any peripheral devices you just connected (for example, a printer). They may not be compatible with your version of macOS.
- Uninstall any app plug-ins or enhancements from other manufacturers.
- If you recently updated the app or macOS, a plug-in or enhancement you installed may no longer be compatible.
- Diagnose problems with your Mac to learn whether hardware you installed, such as additional memory, is incompatible, improperly installed, or defective.

You could try reinstalling the Football Manager game in the Steam app.

* Keep in mind, if you are not sharing via the cloud, it may result in lost game progress.

If the issue continues, then it would be best to use the following related steps: If your Mac restarts and a message appears - Apple Support
