iTunes playlist

On an iTunes playlist how can I make song go to the top of the list instead of to the bottom

  • Arrange the Playlist so that the arrow is in the left column, above the numbers and pointing up (as shown below):


  • if the arrow is pointing down, click the column a second time to reverse the arrow's position
  • now left-click-and-hold the track you wish to move and drag it to the position that you prefer. As you drag the song you will notice a couple of icons appear and a blue line moves to indicate the current position. Drop the song into the position you prefer
  • looking at the screenshot below you will notice that the song Awakening Spirits has been moved from position 28 (screenshot above) to position 26




Note that the arrow must be in column one. You cannot do this if the arrow is in any other column.
